Hello everyone,

We all hope you’re doing ok, it’s been a long haul for everyone!

We have been beavering away setting up the July conference. The headlines are that it will be held in a ‘long, thin’ format (at least 24 hours long) that lets people join from around the world, with another chance to put in a paper before April 12th to add to all those we already accepted (what seems like years ago, in December 2019).

Aspirations

Some of this may have to shift for practical reasons that we are yet to discover but our intention is:

• keynotes in their appropriate timezones from Julie Rattray, Andrea Webb, Julie Timmermans
• one Zoom room to keep it all simple
• professional captioning for keynotes (and, if we can work out the cost issues, other sessions)
• cheap registration for all (£30 for properly-waged, £10 for less-waged, more details very soon)
• a blog-based record and recordings of all sessions (unless not wished by the speaker(s) for posterity
